Our last win on this date was in 1973 again against West Ham winning 3-2 with goals from Ron Abbott and a double from Don Givens.
Since then 8 times on this day without a win although we have drawn 5 of those games.
The defeats include a 1-0 loss at Norwich in 1988 and a 3-2 defeat at Leyton Orient in the Lague Cup in 2002.
In 1994 we enjoyed a 2-2 draw with Coventry with Gary Penrice scoring both of our goals.
Our last fixture on this date was in 2016 when we drew 1-1 with Blackburn where we did the rare thing of scoring direct from a free kick.
