QPR Stats 2024/25
So another season over, here you can look back on stats from this season with a summary below
Players
Jimmy Dunne made the most appearances with 48 out of the 50 games we played.
Paul Smyth was second with 47 then Paul Nardi on 45 and Kenneth Paal & Jonathan Varane on 43.
Dunne also made the most starts with 47 of his appearances in the starting 11.
Paul Nardi made the next most starts with all 45 of his from the start then Kenneth Paal with 38
Michael Frey was top goalscorer with 9 goals, the highest number of goals in a season from a QPR player since 2021/22 when Andre Gray scored 10.
Jimmy Dunne was our second highest scorer with 5 goals whilst Rayan Kolli and Sam Field both scored 4 goals for QPR.
New signings Saito, Dembele and Madsen all got 3 goals each.
For the fourth time in five seasons Ilias Chair has the most assists with 7.
Paul Smyth, Kenneth Paal and Karamoko Dembélé all had 4 assists
Jonathan Varane and Sam Field had the most yellow cards with 9, Jimmy Dunne had 7 with Harison Ashby booked 6 times.
Koki Saito had the most Loft for Words Man of the match awards with 9 whilst Paul Nardi had 6 MOTM awards
At the end of the season Ilias Chair remains our top goalscorer across his career with 37 goals in total.
Sam Field is the next highest with 12 goals then Jimmy Dunne with 11 and Michael Frey has 10 followed by Paul Smyth on 7
Team
Our longest unbeaten run was 7 games and since our return to the Championship in 2015 we've only had a longer unbeaten run once when we went 8 unbeaten in the 2021/22 season.
Our longest run without a win was 13 games, the third season in a row we have gone 12 games or more without a win.
The biggest win of the season was 4-0 against Derby which was also our biggest ever home win against them
Our heaviest defeat came in the 5-0 defeat at home to Burnley which was also our heaviest home defeat since 2016 and our biggest ever against Burnley.
Our best run was 4 wins in a row, we haven't won more games in a row since the 2004/05 season when we won 7 league games in a row.
The last time we won 4 games in a row was the 2020/21 season
We scored 59 goals in all competitions, the highest number since the 2021/22 season
Despite a poor season at home we won more points at Loftus Road than we did last season, 29 this year compared to 27 in 2023/24
We scored in 9 games in a row which was our best run since the 2021/22 season
League Positions
Our highest league position this season was 10th which we reached after beating Hull in January.
We spent 11 successive games in the bottom 3 but have not been in the bottom 3 since we beat Norwich at home in December
Attendance
Our highest home attendance this season was 17,457 for the home game against Leeds in March.
Our biggest away following was 4,500 away at Leicester whilst in the league we took 2,362 away to Derby in October
Kits
Away from home the Blue and White Hoops were most successful, we won 6 and lost 1 game in that kit.
We won 2 and lost 4 in the black kit whilst the gold kit was not a winning one, we won no games in that kit, lost 6 and drew twice.
